Kestens Montage pays a great deal of attention to safety and has accordingly been VCA** certified
for many years. This means that Kestens Montage meets all current health, safety and
environment requirements.
All employees have completed basic VCA training, and they are also
evaluated constantly and trained further.
The foremen have received an additional VCA training
for managers. Most employees also have additional certificates that allow them to perform
various safety-related functions, such as enter confined spaces with respiration equipment or
work as a forklift truck driver, rigger, fire attendant, telescopic handler or lift platform operator,
truck driver, etc. These competencies are greatly appreciated in the industrial environments
where Kestens Montage is active.
The company has been praised many times for strict compliance
with safety regulations under extremely difficult conditions.
Kestens Montage was founded in 1985 by Alex Kestens and his brother Omer. In the past, their father Hector had also had a small fabrication company and their great-grandfather worked as a coppersmith. Metalworking was therefore already in their blood, and that partly explains why things flourished over the years.
In the meantime, Kestens Montage has grown into a dynamic company with some 50 employees.
